THE 100 BEST WINES OF THE YEAR BY ANDREAS LARSSON,
BEST SOMMELIER OF THE WORLD
For us, these rankings are the result of a year of tasting. For the many producers who place their trust in us, they reflect years of patience and often hard work.
Every year, wine producers around the world compete for excellence to distinguish themselves in their domestic and international markets. But how can you promote the quality of a wine beyond borders, capture the attention of professional buyers, and showcase your work to demanding distributors in an increasingly competitive environment?
Top Wines of the World was born out of a simple reality : to provide buyers with guidelines by promoting the most authentic and consistent wines of the year, those that make an impression, tell a story, and are the result of a job well done. This ranking is a communication and sales tool for importers, distributors, and final customers, helping to strengthen the image and reputation of these selected wines
All wines were tasted between January 1 and December 31, 2025, and our tastings are open to all styles of wine : white, red, rosé, sweet, champagne, and sparkling wines. After each session, producers receive a score, tasting notes, and the corresponding medal.
At the end of the year, the results take on their full significance with the publication of our two TOP Wines of the World rankings:
This segmentation reflects a strong conviction:
excellence is not a question of price,
but of accuracy, mastery and pleasure.
