Inky dark core but some development on the rim. The nose offers mostly youthful fruit with cassis, cherry and plum notes but also some development, with smoke, truffle and dry spices. Dense and concentrated palate, still a rather youthful texture with rich ripe tannin a fresh acidity underneath the sweet dark fruit, vigorous, dense and lingering finish with plenty of stuffing. A wine that still has a long life ahead of it.
