France,
Languedoc Roussillon,
Fairly deep colour, but still I can see through it, so it is not too dense there. Dark ruby-red with a flash of purple. Quite floral nose, more on the primary fruity side. With hints of dark berries, plum, violet, mild spices, no noticeable oak. Attractive palate, I would say. Medium weight, a little bit more, it has brightness and density, but a quite soft texture. Well balanced by a fresh acidity. Quite sweet fruity character. Rounded and juicy, I would say, subtle modern vinifation. Excellent drinkability, yet it does have structure and length. A wine that should keep, but I find this style, as I said, in its attractive and juicy style to drink fairly young.
