Bright dark purple colour. Fresh dark fruit with plum, cherry, mild pepper and some oak. High ripeness on the palate, warm and rounded with sweet dark fruit, yet a fresh backbone and fine tannin, generous bold and rather long finish with aniseed and liquorice notes.
