Inky black colour. Intense nose with high ripeness, herbal notes and jammed berries with creme de cassis notes and roasted oak. Dense and extracted palate, rather firm tannin, restrained fruit and dominating oak, some roasted and burnt flavours on the finish. Ambitious but still dominated by oak and tannin.
