Adanti – Arquata – 2010

Montefalco Sagrantino
MEDAILLE-TASTED-94-2024
Italy,
Umbria,
Dense ruby red core and a mature tawny rim. Fine nose with a great deal of intensity, modern dark fruit with a layered spiciness, fine oak, tobacco and dark berry notes. The palate is rich, dense and structured with fine proportions, high but ripe tannin, dark cherry, cassis and chocolate notes, fine spices all along with a very long and dense finish. Really enjoyable today but should improve for a very long time.
