Adanti – Il Domenico – 2007
Montefalco Sagrantino

Italy,
Umbria,
A dark ruby core and lighter tawny rim. Some evolution and complexity on the nose, traditional style with long ageing in wood, dried cherry, prune, tobacco and oak notes with an aged spiciness. The palate is dense and weighty, still youthful with very high tannin and extract, yet no hard edges, starts to open, dense and layered with a very long finish. A big and structured wine built for long time, should still improve for a long time.
