Portugal,
Peninsula de Setubal,
Very dark colour here, some hints of blue-purple. Appearing very youthful. Pure nose. A lot of fruitiness there, with ripe dark berries, such as blackberry, plum, cassis. Mild spiciness as well. Good grip on the palate. Very dense here. It is a good density of fruit, with really ripe dark berries, blackberry, cassis. With well-preserved acidity. There is a lot of freshness on the finish. Still quite tannic with a high extract that should need some time to integrate. The oak is not really noticeable. I pick up a little hint of toastiness on the finish. A hint of vanilla, but not so much oak or wood. Attractive dark fruit and quite a long finish. Certainly a wine with a structure to develop and to shed some of that tannic sensation we pick up right now.
