Inky dark core with a purple hue. Fragrant and ripe nose displaying blackberry, cassis, violet and mild spices. The palate is dense but silky with good layers and harmony with savoury dark fruit, fine oak, a mild spiciness, fresh backbone despite being warm and ripe, and a long and lingering finish. Nicely done.
