Alella Vinicola – Costa del Maresme – 2008

Medium deep ruby red colour with a rusty mature rim. Intense and mature nose of tobacco dried fruit, spice box and some oak. The palate is on the denser side still with some tannic bite, the fruit is on the drier side with notes of prune and dried berries, mature with some oxidation, spicy and smoky notes with a rather long warm finish, and a slightly dry and tannic finish.
