Allegrini – 2012

Medium to deep ruby red. Pure nose of ripe dark fruit - cherry, cassis, dark chocolate, tobacco and fine spices. Layered palate, dense fruit with fine extract, ripe tannin and a fresh dose of acidity, layered dark fruit with pepper, liquorice and clove, ripe fruit but no sweetness, long and persistent finish and an approaching complexity, finely tuned and modern style.
