Dense purple core with a lighter rim. Discreet nose showing some oak, cedar and tobacco notes with ripe almost dried fruit. The palate is dense but still on the tannic side with plenty of extract, some oak and ripe dark fruit, good length and potential but still a bit tight and closed.
