Intense dark inky colour. Intense nose, slightly on the volatile/balsamic side with sweet and dried dark fruit like prune, fig and liquorice. Full bodied with high extraction, firm and chewy with restrained fruit, a balsamic hint and a rather long but a bit drying finish. Ambitious but a bit harsh today.
