Alto – MPHS – 2007

Dense core with a ruby rim. The nose is intense and mature with classic notes of coffee beans, herbs, red berries, cassis and leather. The palate is dense and nicely firm with a tannic backbone, some bitter notes a la pinotage, yet rounded with time, good freshness, layers of fruit and long spicy finish. Full of character.
