Dense core with a purple hue and lighter towards ruby on the rim. The nose offers some maturity and balsamic notes, with traditional oak-aged notes, dry spices, clove and vanilla with plum, sloe berry, cherry and some floral notes. Good grip on the palate, rather voluminous with ripe extract and rounded tannin, a vivid freshness giving lift to the seemingly sweet fruit, layerd with a good amount of complexity and a long supple finish.
