Altos de Rioja – Altos R Reserva – 2009

Dark ruby with a blue tinge; opulent nose of smoke, some new oak, dark berries and blackcurrant; full and chewy palate with attractive, spicy dark fruit, well treated oak and tannins, good length, still youthful, but with good potential.
