Israel,
Galilée,
Red wine with a very profound colour, still with an inky core, slightly ruby toward the rim, with high viscosity and concentration it seems. Intense fruit on the nose, plenty of bright dark fruit; like plum, cassis, blackberry and mild spices. High concentration on the palate, really ripe and warm fruit, with noticeable alcohol. However, balanced with that style. I think there is a wealth of dark fruit in there; like plum, cassis and blackberry. There is also fine spiciness emerging towards the finish, with hints of finely ground spices like; clove, cinnamon and vanilla. There is a hint of oak in there, but well concealed. Long lasting finish, with that hint of complexity that the wine is starting to obtain. It is actually coming through there, multi-layered, and spiced. A fine example still with a good potential for the cellar, but perfectly drinkable today.
