Anna Maria Abbona – 2013
Barolo

Italy,
Piedmont,
Medium deep ruby red colour with a tawny rim. Seductive perfume, very Burgundian with sweet wild berries, fine tobacco, mild spices like clove, ginger, tobacco and some black truffle. The palate is dense and ample but already rounded tannin and a supple texture with bright wild fruit, tobacco and spice notes with a very long and intense finish. Excellent.
