Antica Enotria – Nero di Troia – 2013

Mature ruby red colour. Spicy nose, sweet fruit and an exotic spiciness of wild herbs, liquorice, dried flower and red fruit confiture, rather layered and complex. The palate is medium bodied with a fine maturity, sweet red fruit and plum notes with floral and herbal spiciness, warm and ripe but good notion of freshness, fine tannin and a long spicy finish. Like old school Châteauneuf in style. Good.
