Dense purple core. Ripe nose with good layers displaying dark berries, cassis, cherry, mild spices, some new oak and tobacco. The palate is dense, still youthful but with ripe extract, fine tannin, a mild spiciness, layers of crushed dark berries, cassis and a long finish.
