Still a very inky and youthful core with a garnet rim. Intense and complex nose packed with violet, tobacco, smoke, blackberry, cherry, some balsamic notes and new oak. There´s a fine balance on the palate despite very intense tannin, good degree of polish thus the tannins contribute with a good sense of freshness. Inky and dark fruit flavours black cherry, cassis, a peppery spiciness on the finish and tremendously long finish. Superb potential here but ideally another 5+ years in the cellar.
