France,
Languedoc Roussillon,
Medium deep ruby-red colour with a slight age. The nose is showing some evolution. There is a slight hint of some funkiness like leather, some stable notes as well. Quite sweet fruit more like marinated or macerated red berries with pepper and some spicy notes. Medium weight on the palate. With again sweet red fruit almost like jammed berries with plum, raspberries, some spicy notes. There is a slight hint of animal presence, like leather. So slightly rustic. Still with a tannic presence on the finish. I think it has gotten a little bit of age but it should probably round off the edges with some additional ageing.
