Dark purple hued. The nose offers some new oak, ripe dark fruit like plum and cherry with ginger and clove spiciness. The palate is dense, still youthful but ripe tannin, a fresh acidity and crushed berry flavours. Pure and lasting finish, should still improve form further ageing but nice material.
