Inky dark purple core and hue. Good intensity on the nose, mild toast and oak with ripe plum, cherry, cassis and dry spices. The palate is dense and vigorous, some meaty flavours with crushed dark berries, mild oak and a tannic richness, long and lingering finish. ambitious effort still needing some time to soften.
