Dark garnet with a purple hue. Pure nose offering a hint of wood and vanilla, darker fruit notes with plum and cassis, some wild herbs and tobacco notes. Rather dense yet rounded palate, grainy tannin and a fresh backbone with digest dark fruit and modest oak leading to a long finish.
