Avelino Vegas – Viña Carpio Reserva – 2014

Dense dark purple core. Attractive and pure nose with floral dark fruit, violet, cherry, plum and fine-tuned oak underneath. The palate is concentrated still youthful with a rather high extraction but delicious dark fruit notes, fine spices, some roasted oak notes and a long warm finish. Fine material, still needing some time to soften further.
