Medium deep ruby red. Pure nose displaying cassis, plum and leather with some herbal notes. The palate appears a bit restrained with slightly harsh tannins, red currant and cranberry notes, some herbal spiciness and a very high acidity, it feels a bit lean at present should soften from further ageing but lacks some ripeness and weight to me.
