France,
Burgundy,
Sparkling wine with a quite youthful vivid mousse, light golden colour. Quite generous nose, showing off quite ripe fruits, almost tropical, with some notes of mango, pineapple. We have a slight hint of something roasted, perhaps a bit of oak aging there, but very generous and very upfront. Palate is still youthful and fresh, with a creamy mid-palate, creamy texture. The fruit is a bit more restrained on the palate than on the nose. It’s quite delicate in a lighter style, with a good amount of freshness. It feels quite dry, not too much dosage or sugar. I like it. Well balanced, quite a long finish as well, with a certain complexity, showing a certain evolution.
