Pale ruby red colour with an orange rim. The nose is complex and mature with notes of sweet red berries, raspberry liqueur, dried cherry, tobacco, fine wood, clove and cocoa. Medium weight with good flavour intensity and grip, still a youthful texture with grippy tannin, a fresh acidity, crunchy red berry flavours with a layered spiciness and a long lingering finish. Elegant and structured still needing a few years to open.
