Inky dark purple core and hue. The nose displays new oak, butterscotch, ripe dark fruit, prune and cassis with some balsamic notes. Concentrated palate with a high extraction, still a firm tannic grip, ripe and dried fruit flavours of prune and fig with a long restrained finish. Still needing time to soften.
