Inky dark purple colour and hue. Modern nose with new oak, vanilla and clove with ripe dark fruit, jammed plum and Kirsch. Bold and unctuous palate, plush texture with mild tannin, sweet dark fruit flavours, new oak hints and a long supple finish. Modern style, rather attractive today but will benefit from further ageing.
