Intense inky purple colour. Modern and intense nose offering new oak, some roasted notes, vanilla, dry spices and ripe inky fruit like cassis, black cherry and plum. The palate is very concentrated with the texture of a sweet wine, yet remaining dry, high in extract but fine polish, layers of spicy dark fruit and a very long powerful finish. A big wine, still needing time to soften and gain nuance but fine material indeed.
