Medium deep ruby colour with an orange rim. Mature nose with some oxidation, rather high volatility dried cherry, dried fruit and a peppery spiciness. Very full palate, with firm tannin, some aged complexity but rather a tannic/acid expression today, needs long time for the texture to soften but starting to dry out.
