Inky dark purple colour. Intense nose, smoky and flinty with notes of grilled meat, smoke, ripe dark fruit, cassis, blackberry. Ripe and bold palate with good weight and volume, polished texture, grainy tannin, mellow acidity but still a touch of freshness from the tannins, subtle dark fruit and a long lingering finish.
