Dense purple core with a ruby rim. Intense and ripe nose displaying ripe dark fruit like cassis, blackberry and cherry with violet and mild spices. The palate is dense with rounded tannin, modest oak, a gentle toast/smokiness with opulent dark fruit and a long meaty finish. Still youthful but nice layers and potential for development.
