Bright light golden colour with rather small bubbles. Rather open nose with some maturity, more pinot-feeling and notes of windfall, ripe pear, ginger bread spices, red berries and some butter. The palate is quite full and broad, still bone dry with a good freshness backing the rather ripe and opulent fruit, crushed pear and plum flavours, ginger and citrus on the finish, quite long as well with integrated mousse. An assertive style with character, rather ready to drink.
