France,
Alsace,
It is a sparkling wine with a quite fine youthful mousse. Medium-deep pink colour. Generous nose, good purity. This one is exuding rather red berries. So we get that notion of Pinot Noir with raspberry, redcurrant, with some apple, pear, citrus as well. On the palate, it is a quite up-front generous and fruity style, with nicely rounded texture. I think the mousse gives a nice creamy texture on the mid-palate. Generous fruit here, with integrated acidity. There is a gentle spiciness there of some liquorice and anise seed. With red berry fruit. Still quite youthful, but I think really well-rounded with generous red berry fruit and medium towards long finish.
