Austria,
Niederosterreich,
Light golden colour, with a fine brightness. The nose suggest yellow fruit. There is a floral component. Ripe citrus. Some spicy notes of sweet ginger with lemongrass. Also with a hint of stoniness. Good grip on the palate here. Moderately ripe yellow fruit with peach and yellow plum. There is a fine level of extract here. So a slight phenolic presence without appearing bitter, more in the shape of grapefruit and lemon zest. Attractive yellow fruit here. Classic freshness, I would say, for the vintage 2014 that can appear a bit austere and lean at present, but it does have a good length. It certainly has potential for future development.
