Medium to deep purple colour. Intense and spicy nose of pepper, clove, aniseed and ripe dark fruit. The palate is rather full but modest extraction, layered spiciness of garrigue, tobacco, cedar wood and crushed dark cherry, good freshness despite a ripe and warm style with a long finish.
