Argentina,
Mendoza,
Very youthful and inky colour. Fine nose here, quite polished showing a ripe, but not overripe fruit. Quite discreet oak as well. A lot of ripe berries there, blackberry, raspberry, fine sweet spices. I like the palate. It is a very good weight and density here. With layers of those crushed berries, raspberry, blackberry, fine pepperiness, ginger, clove, quite discreet oak. Really lushes and rewarding. I think it is a fine balance here, between the ripeness and the freshness. Really long and lingering finish. Still appearing a bit youthful on the finish, still a tannic presence there. I don't see it as a problem. We can decant for a little bit for it to open it up a bit more. It is surely a wine that will go on for a long time in a good cellar.
