Medium to deep purple hue. Layered nose of pepper, clove, some meaty notes, blackberry and plum, fine purity and discreet oak. The palate has a bit more than medium weight, good layers and nuance, fine spices and digest dark fruit with grainy tannin, a fresh backbone, good grip and a long lingering finish. Digest and nuanced.
