Medium deep purple colour. Aromatic with cassis, dried herbs, aniseed and sweet plum. The palate is youthful and dense with a tannic backbone, no hard edges though, fresh yet ripe dark fruit, aniseed, sage and some tobacco on the finish, rather long and warm finish.
