Dense opaque colour. Sweet nose of blackberry liqueur, cassis and plum with some tar. The palate is dense and full bodied with a young texture, rather mild tannin, layers of sweet fruit, some herbal spiciness and a long warm finish. A bit young and unresolved but has the stuffing to develop.
