Dense purple core and a lighter rim. Pure nose, ripe Cabernet notes of cassis, dark cherry, tobacco, fine leather and violet. Dense palate with youthful but ripe tannin, grainy texture with floral dark fruit, crushed black currant, sage and mint with a fresh acidity underneath, just a little hint of oak/butterscotch with a long and persistent finish. Digest and well-balanced.
