Bodega Inurrieta – Mimao Garnacha Blanca – 2022

Bright young straw color with a green hue. Nuanced nose offers some oak and lees-derived creamy and spicy notes with white-fleshed fruit like pear and apple, some herbal fennel, and mint notes with mild toast underneath. The palate shows good weight and texture with mild tannin adding structure, not a high acidity per se but still bone-dry, showing a notion of freshness despite high maturity, unctuous young fruit, well balanced oak and a long lingering finish.
