Dense purple core with a lighter rim. Some new oak, roasted notes, violet, ripe dark fruit, plum and crushed berries. The palate is massive and dense, yet polished texture with grainy tannin and a fresh acidity, finely tuned, less oak on the taste than the nose, layers of inky dark fruit, cassis and kirsch notes. Very long and grippy finish with good purity and balance in a ripe, bold and muscular style, great potential for development.
