Inky dark purple core with a high viscosity. Pure nose with some floral hints, violet, inky dark fruit like cassis, kirsch, blackberry and some meaty notes like a juicy steak tartar with pepper and clove. Immense palate, very concentrated but fresh and balanced with plenty of fine grained tannin, layers of floral dark fruit, cassis with ripe herbs, sage and mint, finely sprinkled spices, no noticeable oak and a very long, muscular and dense finish. Immense structure, still needing time to show its full potential but lovely purity, concentration and weight.
