Bright garnet colour. Youthful and nicely layered aromas of wild berries, plum, tobacco, sage, mint, and no indication of oak. The palate is textured with grainy tannin, fresh acidity, youthful and vivid sweet fruit flavours, yet remaining dry, digestible, with fine length and a supple finish.
