Inky dark core and a purple hue. The nose shows moderately ripe cabernet/sauvignon/franc notes with red currant, plum, wild herbs, and tobacco. Still a bit of a restrained palate but is refreshing with digest red fruit, ripe but young tannin, and a fine length, still deserving a year or two to open.
