Inky black opaque colour and hue. Intense nose offering violet and lavender with crème de cassis, kirsch, ink, raw meat and very gentle oak. The palate shows an immense concentration without heaviness, a well-defined acidity underneath with bright and pure dark fruit flavours, some stony/iron-like notes, mouth watering with very fine-grained tannins and a meaty presence, leading to a very long and muscular finish. An immense wine with modest extraction and good sense of freshness.
